Dr. Prather, can you tell us more about the importance of aerobic respiration as it relates to the health of the body?

Aerobic Respiration is how effective your body is in transferring the oxygen you breathe into energy in the body. If you have improper aerobic respiration one of the byproducts of that are free radicals, which can cause a number of problems within the body.

This is actually very nutritionally based so if you don’t have the proper minerals and vitamins then the cellular aspects of the body are going to have a breakdown which causes a speeding of the aging process.

As a matter of fact that is the definition of aging – no longer being able to actually do aerobic respiration.

Another major affect is reduced aerobic respiration can put your body in a state where you are at risk for cancer. Cancer always has lowered energy in the cells.

Keeping up with healthy aerobic respiration is a great way to make sure your body is functioning properly.
