Know of any local healthcare events or health fairs? As Marketing Director for the Prather Wellness Center, I am always looking for ways to get more involved in the community. If you know of any or are planning an event yourself feel free to contact our office and we would be more than happy to help. We can offer services ranging from cholesterol and glucose screenings, to trigger point therapy. If we can't help we might know someone else who can, so be sure to contact us.

Comment by Chris Clifford on July 14, 2008 at 10:31am - Tirgger point therapy is when pressure is applied to a muscle spasm in order to release the spasm. This therapy is intended to increase range of motion and decrease pain temporarily. This is a therapy we commonly use during screenings because it can be performed easily on remote sites. It should be noted that trigger point therapy only temporarily relieves pain. It is in the best interest of patients seeking long term results to see one of the facility's doctors in order to cater a treatment plan specific to each unique condition.
